Becky works closely with Art Coordinators to audit and strengthen school art curriculums, ensuring clear progression of skills from Reception to Year 6. This includes full coverage of key disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles and more, aligned with the 2023 Ofsted Primary Art Review.
Support begins with identifying whole-school needs, followed by targeted improvements and tailored resources.
The curriculum ensures a clear and coherent progression of skills from Reception through to Year 6. The curriculum will include a diverse and carefully selected range of artists that reflect society and culture. This will encompass women, disabled and multicultural artists, alongside both ‘old masters’ and contemporary practitioners working today.
The aim is to give children a rich, well-rounded experience of materials, techniques, and artistic perspectives.
